Three's network is good, but if you have a problem just give up. They shut off a mast in my area meaning I couldn't get any signal, and I had to spend 15 hours on the phone to let me cancel the contract.

Also when I went to the Putney store, near the train station to get a new SIM Card I phoned them up before and they said they had loads of ones. When I got there I got told

‘Sorry we don’t have any C20 SIM Cards. Why didn’t you mention that?’

So next week I phoned up again and asked if they had any C20 SIM Cards and again they said they had stock, but when I got there the same person that told me I had a C20 SIM Card the week before said that C20s don’t exist, just 1, 2, 3, 4s, and that the person must’ve been lying. When I told him that it was him he denied he’d spoken to me.

When I phoned up CS in India they were actually very good and helpful, and the person said there was no way for me to know what number my SIM Card was, it’s just a random allocation to which server it was.

To top that all off it took about 5 minutes to be served at the stop because the person told me to wait while they were playing on their phone. And no they weren’t doing anything important, I saw the screen, it was a game.

Finally they also halved my data allowance without telling me and said that I was a liar and it was always like that, even they changed it after about 3 months on the contract.

All in all, I think you can see why I'm not happy with Three!

Please update this post - it is a MicroSim card, not a MicroSD card. Neither Nokia Lumia 800 nor 710 support MicroSD, but both use MicroSim card.

lol, you focus on hardware specs - and leave out _ALL_ that is relevant. Anything to do with UX and software functionality .. you conviniently leave out.

One is not wiser after reading this, than before.

Buy the n9 folks, it will be able to do more, more conviniently than the wp7 version, and that within a very short amount of time. The meego community is faster, more innovative and more personally involved than the big microsoft waterhead.

Samsung did this once and I know people (ladies) that bought the phone. The Samsung E530 came with a lifestyle features section including sections for creating shopping lists. The other part was, it only came in pink as far as I remember, a typical sales pitch for the girly user.

If you sell/market/make a phone based on gender does this mean that you will restrict some functionality just because you think that specific gender won't be interested or even unable to use it? That's dangerous territory.

A mobile device is now a standard piece of technology that's used daily. I think we'd (boys and girls) would prefere it if mobile manufacturers built devices we can customise ourselves no matter what gender.

Customising is a human trait, your style is exclusive to you, remember how you customised your folders at school?

Thats amazing, however having tried the OVI maps its not that great, so far I havent been able to get it to work with its supposed "turn by turn" feature. Perhaps a review of it will be necessary?

If Nokia pre-load OVI maps on their phones with the Lonely planet and Michelin travel guides I'd expect frequent travellers will be more inclined to get a Nokia device on their next upgrade. Maybe young travellers will be inclined to get nokias and we will see a change in tarrifs to accomodate data useage abroad?

Great article. There's a lot of good information here, though I did want to let you know something - I am running Ubuntu with the latest beta of Firefox, and the design of your blog is kind of bizarre for me. I can understand the articles, but the navigation doesn't function so well.
